Built around 1850, pretty Francis Cottage is within a stone’s throw of the historic town walls, with private off street parking for two cars to the rear, accessed through the enclosed garden from the house and via a security barrier from the road.
Our 3 bedroom cottage, comfortably sleeping 6 (plus a cot), is only a few minutes walk from Tenby’s stunning beaches and numerous pubs and restaurants serving delicious meals, yet far enough away to be able to chill out in the quiet garden on a warm evening. The garden includes a patio, brick BBQ, assorted outside seating and mature fruit trees.
Francis Cottage is always accessible by car as it is just outside the area which is pedestrianised during the summer.

Location
Francis Cottage is within a short walk of Tenby town centre and its famous beaches.
Nearby towns include pretty Saundersfoot which I recommend exploring, especially the walks through the old railway tunnels to Coppet Hall and beyond.
Access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal path is also close by.
The best way to explore Pembrokeshire is by car, bicycle or on foot. Buses, especially out of season, aren’t very regular.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Francis Cottage and would definitely recommend staying if you like the urban location. We really liked the easy access to Tenby/beaches and in addition, there is good access to the surrounding countryside for good walking and cycling. A good practical cottage, plenty large enough for a family. All the fixtures and fittings you’d need on holiday.
Great holiday house in a lovely, handy location for Tenby. House was clean and nicely appointed with everything necessary for out week’s holiday.
Nice and cosy house. Such a great location! We really enjoyed the barbecue in the backyard.
The internet connection was particularly good, I had to do a little bit of remote work and never experienced any issues while on calls.

Our host went out of her way to make us feel welcome and feel comfortable. We appreciated very much the quick responses to all our questions and queries. As a result, we had a wonderful family time in a cottage right in the heart of Tenby where everything was just right. Thank you!
